Terms of Service
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Wish mobile application, our website at soulwishtech.com, and any related services we provide (together, the “Services”). They are operated by Soul Wish Tech Pvt Ltd, a company registered in India (“Soul Wish Tech”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
We’ve tried to write these Terms in plain language wherever we can. By creating an account or using Wish, you acknowledge and accept these Terms. If you do not agree with any portion, please do not use the App.

1. Who Can Use Wish
Wish is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you’re under 18, please don’t use this App.
When you sign up, you confirm that:
- Everything you’ve told us during registration is accurate and reflects who you actually are
- You’re not banned or restricted from using Wish or similar services under any prior action we’ve taken
- You’re legally permitted to enter into this agreement
2. Your Account
You’re responsible for your account. Keep your login credentials private, don’t share access with anyone else, and tell us at support@soulwishtech.com immediately if you suspect something is wrong.
Everything that happens through your account — messages sent, dares submitted, Soul Facts guessed — is your responsibility, whether you personally did it or not. We take security seriously, but we can only act on what we know, so please report issues promptly.
Your display name, avatar, age, and profile content are yours to choose within the limits in Section 4. You cannot impersonate another real person, a public figure, or another Wish user.
3. What Wish Is (and What It Isn’t)
Wish is a social discovery and dating application. Its features include profile creation, verification, a game-style icebreaker called Soul Facts, a dare-based interaction called Dream Date, preference-based discovery, and in-app chat between users who unlock conversation under app rules.
We provide the platform. We don’t control what happens between users once they’re connected, and we don’t guarantee any particular outcome — a response, a date, or a relationship. Your experience depends on how you and others use the App.
We are not a background check service. Selfie and phone verification confirm that an account belongs to a real person — not that everything a user says about themselves is true. Use your own judgment before meeting someone in person.
4. What You Can and Cannot Do
Wish is built so people can explore connections in a space that feels safe, playful, and respectful. When using Wish, you agree not to:
4.1 Harm or disrespect other users
- Harass, threaten, bully, stalk, or intimidate anyone on the platform
- Send unsolicited explicit content of any kind
- Discriminate against or demean users based on religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic
- Attempt to contact someone who has blocked you or declined your interaction through any other means
4.2 Misrepresent yourself
- Use someone else’s photos, name, or identity
- Pretend to be someone you’re not, including a Wish employee or a public figure
- Provide false information at registration or in your profile
- Create a profile for anyone other than yourself
4.3 Misuse the platform
- Use Wish for commercial solicitation, advertising, or spam of any kind
- Share links, referral codes, or promotional content without our written permission
- Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Extract or scrape user data through automated means
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with any part of the Wish application or infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, server, or system connected to Wish
4.4 Post harmful content
- Upload content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates violence, exploitation, or abuse of any person
- Share content involving minors in any romantic or sexual context — absolute prohibition; immediate termination and referral to law enforcement
- Post content that incites communal hatred, religious conflict, or violence of any kind
We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation. We won’t always get it perfect, but we take these decisions seriously and review disputes fairly.
5. Soul Facts and Dream Date — How the Game Works
Soul Facts is our icebreaker mechanic. A user presents three statements about themselves — two are false, one is true. Another user guesses which statement is true. A correct guess unlocks chat between both users. An incorrect guess results in a temporary pause before you can guess again (currently 12 hours, as shown in the App).
Dream Date is our dare mechanic. One user sends a proposed date idea to another. The recipient can accept the dare (which unlocks chat), suggest modifications (which also unlocks chat under app rules), or decline entirely. Declining has no penalty and requires no explanation.
Premium access: Initiating or responding to Soul Facts and Dream Date interactions may require an active paid subscription or eligible complimentary access, as described in Section 6 and shown in the App.
Important rules:
- Soul Facts statements must be honest representations of yourself. Deliberately misleading, offensive, or inappropriate statements violate these Terms
- Dream Date dares must be respectful and legal. Sexual dares without prior consent, illegal activities, or dares designed to embarrass or harm the recipient are prohibited
- The pause after an incorrect Soul Facts guess is a feature of the game, applied automatically, and is not subject to appeal
- Both features are subject to our moderation standards in Section 4
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Wish operates on a freemium model. Premium features — including initiating or responding to Soul Facts and Dream Date interactions — require either an active paid subscription or eligible complimentary access.
Eligibility for complimentary access to the App and its full features is determined at the time of registration based on criteria set by Soul Wish Tech Pvt Ltd and will be clearly communicated to the User within the App. Users who do not qualify for complimentary access may subscribe to premium features through the following plans:
Subscription plans (prices may vary slightly on app stores):
- 1 Month: INR 299
- 3 Months: INR 599
- 6 Months: INR 899
6.1 Refunds
All subscription purchases are non-refundable once the subscription period has commenced, including cases of non-usage, dissatisfaction, or change of mind.
If a technical issue prevents you from accessing the Services, contact support@soulwishtech.com and we will work to resolve it promptly.
Payments are processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Platform fees and policies are governed by Apple and Google. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel through your app store account settings.
6.2 Pricing changes
We may modify subscription pricing. Changes will be communicated as appropriate. Continued use of a subscription after new pricing takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated fees.
6.3 Consumer protection compliance
In compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, Soul Wish Tech Pvt Ltd ensures that pricing, fees, and charges shown in the App are transparent, unambiguous, and inclusive of applicable taxes. We do not use unfair trade practices, algorithmic manipulation, or “dark patterns” designed to mislead consumers into purchasing subscriptions.
7. Your Content
When you submit content to Wish — your avatar, bio, Soul Facts statements, Dream Date dares, messages, or anything else — it remains yours. We don’t claim ownership of what you create.
You grant Soul Wish Tech a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, process, and transmit your content within the Services solely to operate Wish, for as long as your account is active. This does not give us the right to sell, license, or commercially exploit your content otherwise.
You represent that you own the content you submit or have the rights to share it, and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.
Profile content visible to other users is shared within the App as described in your settings. Messages are private between users who have unlocked chat under app rules, but may be reviewed if reported.
8. Verification and Moderation
We verify accounts using a selfie and phone number confirmation. Selfies are reviewed manually by authorised personnel to confirm you are a real, adult person. Verification confirms identity — it does not endorse behaviour. Verified accounts can still be actioned for violations.
8.1 How we handle reports
If another user reports your account, we review the report manually. We do not take automated action based on reports alone. Depending on severity, we may:
- Issue a warning
- Temporarily restrict your account
- Permanently ban your account
- Refer the matter to law enforcement where required or where we believe there is a genuine safety risk
8.2 Appeals
If your account was restricted or banned and you believe this was in error, email grievance@soulwishtech.com with the subject line Account Appeal — [your username]. We will review within 14 business days. Our decision on appeals is final.
9. Privacy
How we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data — including your selfie, phone number, and usage data — is explained in our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to the Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy on a matter relating to data, the Privacy Policy governs.
10. Intellectual Property
The software, design, branding, name, logo, Soul Facts mechanic, Dream Date concept, and all other content created by us belong to Soul Wish Tech Pvt Ltd or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to use any of it beyond normal use of the App.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of Wish without our express written permission. This includes scraping user data or cloning the App’s design or mechanics.
If you believe content on Wish infringes your intellectual property rights, contact support@soulwishtech.com with details.
11. Third-Party Services
Wish uses third-party services to function — including cloud infrastructure, SMS delivery, analytics, push notifications, and payment processing. These are named in our Privacy Policy. They operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
The App may display links to third-party websites or services. Following those links takes you outside Wish; we are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
12. Disclaimers
We do our best to keep Wish running smoothly, safely, and reliably. Specifically:
- The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times
- We do not guarantee that you will receive responses, unlock chat with any particular user, or have any particular experience
- We are not responsible for the actions, behaviour, or content of other users. You interact with others at your own discretion
- We are not responsible for harm — physical, emotional, financial, or otherwise — resulting from interactions with users you meet on Wish, online or offline
Nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable Indian consumer protection law.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable Indian law, Soul Wish Tech Pvt Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption) arising from your use of or inability to use the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Cyber security: While we implement reasonable data security measures under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules framed thereunder, no transmission over the internet or mobile network is entirely secure. We are not liable for unauthorised access, hacking, data breaches, or cyber-attacks resulting from factors beyond our reasonable control, including compromise of your personal device, upstream network failures, or third-party infrastructure failures.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for subscription in the one (1) month immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Soul Wish Tech Pvt Ltd, its directors, employees, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Content you submit that infringes a third party’s rights
- Any dispute between you and another user
15. Ending Your Use of Wish
15.1 Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from App settings. Uninstalling the App does not delete your account. When you delete your account, your profile becomes immediately invisible to other users. Your verification selfie is removed from storage within a reasonable period. Limited records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy (for example, fraud prevention or legal compliance).
Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of any unused subscription period.
15.2 When we terminate your account
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, pose a risk to other users, or we are required to do so by law. Where safe and appropriate, we will give notice before terminating. In serious cases — including harassment, fraud, or illegal activity — we may act immediately without notice.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply in your location.
16.1 Dispute resolution and arbitration
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be referred to friendly consultation. If not resolved within thirty (30) days, it shall be referred to binding arbitration in Hyderabad, India, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator appointed mutually by the parties. The language of arbitration shall be English.
Before formal proceedings, contact support@soulwishtech.com and give us a genuine opportunity to resolve the issue.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the App evolves or the law requires. For material changes, we will:
- Notify you through the App
- Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this document
Minor clarifications may be made without separate notice. The current version is always available at soulwishtech.com/terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
